PM+
The brief intervention Problem Management Plus (PM+) developed by the WHO is being implemented throughout Switzerland. PM+ is carried out by trained refugees in the sense of peer support and serves to strengthen resilience and reduce psychological stress among refugees.
Screenings
Systematic screening is intended for the early detection of psychological stress in refugees. People experiencing mental distress can be identified and referred onward according to their needs.
Awareness campaign
The campaign aims to raise awareness of mental health issues among refugees and specialists. It also highlights the availability and potential benefits of PM+.
Networking
Regional, interprofessional networks with stakeholders from healthcare, migration and social services improve psychosocial care for refugees. The Map provides an overview of key actors and programs in the field of refugee support.

Spirit X is built for implementation partners running complex, multi-stakeholder initiatives—such as the Switzerland-wide SPIRIT pilot—so digital workflows align with PM+, screening, outreach, and network coordination on the ground.
